Mihrabat Restaurant

Situated within the historic, pine-scented landscape of Mihrabat Korusu in Kanlıca, this restaurant project is designed to be a seamless extension of its breathtaking Bosphorus setting. Designed in collaboration with architect Enver Kaba, the architectural approach prioritizes structural lightness and transparency, using expansive glazing, sweeping rooflines, and natural-material palettes to dissolve the boundary between the dining interior and the surrounding woodland. Rather than imposing upon the historic park, the building functions as an elegant, quiet observer—framing panoramic views of the water and adapting to the site's natural topography. By harmonizing high-capacity, contemporary hospitality requirements with the sensitive ecological and historical context of the grove, the design creates a refined gathering space that honors the timeless spirit of the coastline.
