Situated within the lush, natural landscape of Ağva, Istanbul, this modern weekend retreat is designed to foster a profound connection with its surroundings. The architectural language is defined by a refined, minimalist material palette that serves as a quiet canvas, allowing the vibrant beauty of the outdoors to take center stage. At the heart of the home, a voluminous, double-height gallery space creates a striking vertical spatial connection. Above this, the second floor is wrapped in continuous ribbon windows, providing an uninterrupted, 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding canopy. By prioritizing clean lines, spatial transparency, and a seamless integration between the built environment and nature, the design offers a serene, contemporary sanctuary away from the dense urban fabric of the city.
