Koru Restaurant

Situated within the scenic grounds of Mihrabat Korusu, this comprehensive interior refurbishment—designed in collaboration with architect Enver Kaba—focuses on elevating an uninspired existing structure into a deeply atmospheric dining destination. The design strategy centers on a complete spatial transformation, introducing rich, tactile elements like textured brickwork to establish a grounded, welcoming character that the original building lacked. The focal point of the dining hall is a series of sweeping, custom-designed arched wooden chandeliers, which elegantly scale the room and infuse the space with warmth and intimacy. Paired with a sophisticated central bar, refined modern furnishings, and large windows that maintain a visual connection to the surrounding pine grove, the intervention successfully redefines the space, offering a layered and highly crafted hospitality experience along the Bosphorus.
