SPRINGHOUSE PAVILLION

Conceived as the architectural origin point for the comprehensive Aqua Santa Maria bottling plant, this Springhouse Pavilion is situated high along the historic mountain trails of Selçuk. It serves as the vital first step in a larger infrastructural narrative, safeguarding the pristine, historically significant water source before it is transported to the main production facility in the valley below. The structure was designed to fulfill this critical mandate while simultaneously acting as an engaging waypoint for hikers and tourists. We approached this delicate intervention by anchoring the pavilion into the rugged topography, utilizing site-appropriate materials and strategic transparency. This allows visitors to visually connect with the protected spring without compromising its purity. Ultimately, the design transforms a standard catchment necessity into a thoughtful architectural moment, initiating the brand's story at the very source.
